It means the Headland of the Crescent Moon

It is only 7 km north of Dahab and 3 km south of the Canyon,
The dive starts by descending to a sandy lagoon with a semicircular shape at a depth of 7-12 meters. We keep the reef on our left and start exploring the amazing coral garden which is the highlight of the dive.

The reef wall descends into the blue and at a depth of 30 meters you can find the small canyon (try to avoid exploring it!) and enjoy the surrounding coral gardens. And if we head to the north we come across a sandy seabed (which is an option as an exit) or we complete our circle to the shallow lagoon and exit from there.
A lot of lionfish, groupers, unicorn fish, and sometimes we spot a turtle as well.

Guidelines

• Possible strong north current usually when the sea going from high to low tide.
• No exploration in the canyon.
• Better when sea conditions are calm.
• Spend as much time as you can in the beautiful and interesting coral garden.
• Very good for snorkeling in calm conditions.
