Lighthouse

The gem in the center of town and only 200 meters away from the Diving Center

Situated on the northern point of Assalah bay in an area called Masbat and only about 200 meters away from Mirage Divers, Lighthouse is one of the most popular sites in Dahab as it has perfect conditions for beginners, professionals and all the diving courses.

Easy entrances in all conditions, thanks to its location, and many possible routes to explore. Lighthouse offers two of the most varying topographical routes combined in one dive site.

Start your dive to the north headland to enjoy huge pinnacles, steep dropoffs and colourful shallow coral walls inhabited by fan coral, bream, parrotfish and groupers - ideal for photographers.

Stay within the bay with its sandy seabed and seagrass carpet to experience the thrill of finding a seahorse. This part of Lighthouse is also known as The Dump and you will find a rich array of marine life living in the old tyres, jeeps and amphoras. And keep an eye out in the blue - sometimes it is surprising what we see!

The Lighthouse is one of the best night dives in the whole Red Sea thanks to its easy entry and impressive marine life.

• Pay attention to the many windsurfers especially when exiting.
• Shut up and dive! :) it is stunning!

• From Mirage Divers: 200 meters. - 2 Min. walking.
• From Dahab Chamber: 4 Km. – 5-10 Min. driving.
