Getting to Dahab

It really doesn't matter how you get to Dahab, just as long as you do! Walk like an Egyptian, fly like a European, walk across the sea as Moses did, Bedouin style on a camel, take a bus or a boat - whatever! Just don't ask for a train timetable…

By Air:

The nearest international airport is approx one hour away at Sharm el Sheikh. Let us know your flight details and our driver will be waiting to drive you through the desert to Dahab.

A little further away to the north is the international airport at Taba, from where it will take approx two hours to reach Dahab driving through beautiful mountains and following the coast road.

By Road:

Regular buses run from Cairo to the bus station in Dahab. The journey feels like it will never end but its cheaper than flying!

By Ferry:

Nuweiba, 45 mins to the north of Dahab, has a ferry service that runs most days to/from Aqaba in Jordan. A fast ferry service from Taba Heights, also to/from Aqaba offers a much quicker option especially for day trips to Petra.
