Our philosophy is simple:
If you were paying us, you would be a CUSTOMER, if we were paying you; you would be an EMPLOYEE.
So since neither is happening, it is a TRUE INTERNSHIP.
We have always wondered how all the rest of the programs out there can call it an Internship when they charge for it?! When you enter our program, we'll train you from whatever your certification level is now, through to PADI Dive Master. Not only do you get your PADI certifications, we'll train you in areas such as Dive center operations, equipment maintenance and repair, Dive Boat operations, tank visual Inspection, air fills, Compressor operation, and Nitrox blending just to name a few. It doesn't stop there, you'll even be able to log enough dives on our dive trips out to the beautiful reefs of Dahab by the Red Sea in order that you meet all of the logged dive requirements of the various certification levels.
It all adds up to give you the training experience you need to become a great Dive Master and get a great basis for your future in the Scuba Diving Industry!
How does it work?!
The program is designed to last approximately 6 months. Sometimes it's little longer depending on the season and when you get started.
But after all you'll be working and training at Mirage Divers in Dahab by the stunning Red Sea,
What we provide:
• Certification classes from Open Water up to the Divemaster level.
• Dive Trips needed to meet certification requirements.
• Housing which includes Internet Access and cable TV.
• Professional Liability Insurance
• Training in Dive Center operations, daily operations, equipment maintenance and repair, Nitrox Blending, visual tank inspections, Emergency First Response and other areas.
• Free share for all our Bedouin parties in our unique place in the mountains.
• 2 days off a week to be able to rest and travel around the stunning desert of Sinai and Egypt.
• You will be logging all of the dives you need for your certifications in the clear warm waters of the Red Sea.
What do you need to do?
• Be available to train or work at the Dive Center in various capacities during the internship.
• Assist or sometimes even conduct some of our daily diving operations or diving center upgrading.
• You will need to purchase your own materials such as books and also pay your own PADI fees for courses.
